Method
Add sabja seeds to room temperature water and stir gently. Seeds swell rapidly within 10-15 minutes.
Signs of Ready
Seeds puff up with a translucent gel-like coating and look like tiny frog eggs.
Tips
- Do not eat unsoaked sabja seeds as they can swell in the throat.
- Add to falooda, lemonade, or sherbet after soaking.
- Unlike chia seeds, sabja seeds swell almost instantly.
